2/25/12: I am grateful for remembering one of my favorite college professors, an anthropologist who taught a course on kinship systems and took pride in learning the correct pronunciation of every student’s last name. (I’m hoping to remember the professor’s name some day soon.)
2/24/12: Listening to singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell sing the title track from her new album, “Young Man in America,” on WBUR radio, Boston.
2/23/12: Sitting up all night long with a client in the hospital and seeing her smile in the morning.
2/22/12: A walk past Learned Pond in Framingham, MA. I understand it’s pronounced “LAR-ned.”
